Hey, you gotta have a links page. You won't find any IT links here though. Those can be found here. These are just some fun links to places that I've found and enjoyed. Remember, you're here to forget about your worries. Im also a bit of a Star Trek fan as you might guess from some of the links below...they are music links to some of the most God awful sounds ever known to man. Enjoy!
The Best Music on the Web -- Living in Texas I am blessed to have access to some of the best music available. This station, KSYM, is a college radio station that has no format and is 99.999% commercial free. They follow a schedule every day, but the music is superb. Cajun, Bluegrass, Blues, Goth, Industrial, Jazz, Reggae, Punk, International, Metal, House, *real* country (not that crap by George Strait, but legends like Bill Monroe and others from the 20's, 30's and 40's.) and, college alternative. You can give it a listen while you visit the rest of my site or anywhere on the web.
The Best Music on the Web Part 2 -- One of the highlights of my day is listening to the Third Coast Music Network on KSYM. Mostly Texas, Louisiana and "Southern" type music. Great artists and sounds.
Hittin' The Road with The Allman Brothers Band -- As you might have guessed, Im a music fan. There is no better music then that provided by the Brothers.
William Shatner (aka Capt. James T. Kirk) singing -- You have got to hear this....Kirk sings "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" I am currently looking for the famous William Shatner Sings! site, so if you know where to find it, email me please.
William Shatner singing Part 2 -- Exerpt from "Mr. Tamborine Man"...hide the children.
Leonard Nimoy singing -- Well, I have yet to find Proud Mary, but I did find an mp3 of a wonderfully horrible song called "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" Try not to scream out in pain when listening to this.... This is mp3 format. This is a link to an mp3 file and it should play using your default audio player without you downloading the whole thing.
Leonard Nimoy singing Part 2 -- Spock singing "If I had a hammer"...Now, if only *I* had a hammer..
More Nimoy -- Singing "Highly Illogical"...very sad indeed...
Jeffery Zeldman Presents -- Nice bizzare web graphics site. I love the way he did his site and his graphics are top notch. If you are looking for web design information and free graphics, go there now.
Size Nine.com -- This is a great collection of odd, offbeat and downright weird links..Enjoy.
The paranoid delusions of Alan Yu -- If you are a veteran of newsgroups like I am, you might be familiar with Alan Yu...if not, you might be familiar with the term "kook". Yu manages to publish huge posts about the Government and their Invisible Technology (currently to blame for the situation in the Florida elections according to Yu). I like Alan...I like his determination and commitment to a belief, however, he is a loon. :-) Read his site and see if you agree. Read about the Philadelphia experiment and how police use this invisible technology. His Deja.com posting history is a real hoot.
