First off, let me say that I don't like Braindumps. I don't need em, don't use em and never will. Why you ask? Well, plain and simple: They are cheating. The information found on them is provided by those that have "wrote" the test and then managed to write down questions and answers from the actual tests so that others seeking to pass the same exam, can memorize particular questions and answers. This also violates the Microsoft Non-Disclosure Agreement and DEVALUES the certification for every certified person.

These people cheat their way thorough an exam by rote memorization and then when they make it into the workplace where they actually have to perform, they are caught and ultimately removed from their job. This hurts not only the company, but the employee as well and most importantly, the client. The next time someone applies with MCSE, MCP, CISCO or other certification after their name, the employer would be an idiot not to think twice. This is the primary reason that the NT 4 MCSE is not worth what it once was.

Believe me, I realize that becoming certified is hard, time intensive and sometimes even expensive depending on the route you choose for your education. This is no excuse to gyp yourself out of an education and ultimately affect others that have worked hard to get where they are. I earned my MCP through hard work, devoting hours to studying, buying books and exchanging information with those similarly situated. If I can do it, anyone can.

If all of this isn't enough to make you stay away from Braindumps, maybe the fact that many of them contain wrong answers will. Oftentimes the material for the Braindump comes from some guy that failed the test, but remembered some of the questions and answers...I don't know about you, but I would rather study than trust some guy that failed the test. Makes sense right? Even if he passed, everything else I've mentioned is applicable. In short, stay away from dumps (ever notice how dumps is also associated with feces?) and pick up a book. If you feel like you aren't getting enough information, find some more books. I had no less than 5 resources for my Win98 exam. Newsgroups are also another way to get information and see how you are doing. You can find the links on my ITLinks page.
